Creativity through photos and cooking! I made this a while back. Here’s my version of mini baked brie (which was inspired by Simply Recipes). Enjoy!

Here’s what you need:

  • 1 tube of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1 round or wedge of brie cheese (do not remove rind)
  • Raspberry Jam, or other sweet jam
  • Brown sugar (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup (optional)

Preheat oven to 350º F. On a stick-free cookie sheet (or you can put a layer of foil on top of the cookie sheet if it’s not non-stick and spray with cooking oil), lay out the puff pastry or the crescent rolls flat (about two for each mini baked brie). Cut brie into small triangle pieces; put two brie pieces on top of the crescent rolls. Spread jam on brie, fold dough over top. Drizzle maple syrup and sprinkle brown sugar on top. Bake at 350º F for 20-25 minutes, pastry should be golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Serve with a baguette, crackers and/or apple slices. (Add a glass of wine to the mix and it’s icing on the cake!) Yum!
